Diagrams
I MADE DIAGRAMS! Everyone at the Chicago Origami Convention was asking if I had diagrams, so I finally made some. Now, you can fold this stick figure whenever you want.
This isn’t just any stick figure. His name is Phil Sung, and I designed him so my friends could fold him.
Folding people is hard. There are lots of easy birds and flowers and frogs to fold, but every humanoid always requires complex folding skills. I had been designing for barely 6 months at the time, but I decided I would do what other designers hadn’t: make an easy humanoid. I think I got lucky, because this is almost as easy as folding a crane.
I made diagrams too, with all the dashed lines and pretty arrows, and they’re FREE. Who else gives you free, legal origami diagrams? Now, regardless of origami skill, you can start tackling one of the most interesting subjects in origami: people.
